Traveling north, strawberries are again in season….and wonderful. At a local store, found the most beautiful strawberries I’ve seen in years…juice, ripe, and red all the way through. Sliced onto cereal, sliced into Greek yogurt, macerated on shortcake biscuits…..if I’d had vanilla bean ice cream, would have put them over that, too.
I wanted to get more on my next trip to town…but no more available. Like so many moments in life, you can’t repeat them. Just grab hold and savor while you can.
